Senior Associate, L2 Production Support Engineer - Wealth Management Technology

About the role

DBS is hiring a Senior Associate, L2 Production Support Engineer for its Wealth Management Technology team within Group Technology. The role provides Level 2 production support for Wealth applications, ensuring high availability, stability and minimal downtime, and is based at the DBS Asia Hub.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for Wealth applications, ensuring high availability, stability and minimal downtime.
• Monitor system health, performance and capacity with enterprise monitoring tools, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Lead incident management, perform rapid root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and reduce toil using scripting and automation frameworks.
• Work with development and infrastructure teams to deploy updates, patches and new releases safely into production.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, runbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Take part in disaster recovery drills and business continuity planning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field.
• Proven L2 production support experience, specifically supporting Banca and Trading applications in a financial services environment.
• Availability to support rotational on-call schedules as required.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems, and SQL, Oracle or NoSQL databases.
• Scripting such as Python, Bash or PowerShell for automation and monitoring.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Geneos, Splunk, Grafana or AppDynamics.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure.
