Senior Associate, Technical Business Analyst - Institutional Banking

About the role

DBS is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join its Institutional Banking Group Technology team. The role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, working closely with technology squads, business stakeholders and product teams to define, refine and deliver impactful products. The position is based at the DBS Asia Hub, on a regular full-time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with tech squads and business stakeholders to define, refine and communicate product vision, goals and roadmap.
• Translate the product roadmap into user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and alignment across the delivery team.
• Groom and prioritise the backlog of work for the delivery team, optimising for value and alignment with customer and business needs.
• Manage and monitor testing execution and timelines to ensure satisfactory delivery of product backlogs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a track record of successfully delivering products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing business cases, requirements specifications and user stories.
• Ability to work independently, proactively and efficiently in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Required skills

• Good understanding of backend systems, databases, APIs and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical skills, including troubleshooting multiple systems and solving complex problems.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies.
