Senior Litigation Counsel – Global Litigation

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Senior Litigation Counsel to join its Global Litigation team in Singapore. Reporting to the Global Litigation leadership, you will oversee the full spectrum of claims, disputes and regulatory matters across Asia, providing strategic legal guidance to the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage claims, disputes and litigation brought by and against the company.
• Oversee external counsel engagement, including communications, budget control and service‑level reviews.
• Advise internal business and legal teams on risk appetite, strategy and the company’s position in disputes.
• Investigate claims and complaints, preparing detailed investigative reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups such as Compliance, Investigations and Employment to develop strategic solutions.
• Identify policy and process enhancements based on lessons learned from legal matters.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legal developments.
• Mentor junior attorneys and professional staff as needed.

Required profile

• Admission to the Singapore Bar with at least 10 years of in‑house or private‑practice litigation experience.
• Member of the Bar in good standing.
• Experience managing significant cases (e.g., $1 million +); trial experience preferred.
• Strong ability to analyse complex business and legal documents and to respond to critical issues.
• Solid financial acumen and ability to interpret business analyses and reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with persuasive presentation skills.
• Advanced problem‑solving capabilities and independent work ethic.
• Authorized to work in Singapore without sponsorship now or in the future.
