Legal Associate – Corporate & Commercial Transactions

About the role

We are a growing legal practice seeking a motivated Legal Associate to support a wide range of corporate, commercial and transactional matters. The role involves both local and cross‑border mandates, offering exposure to diverse industries and complex deals.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements and other legal documentation.
• Advise clients on corporate, commercial, regulatory and transactional issues.
• Support M&A, investment, financing and restructuring transactions where relevant.
• Conduct legal research, due diligence and provide practical legal advice.
• Liaise closely with clients, counterparties, regulators and external stakeholders.
• Manage matters independently while collaborating with senior lawyers on complex transactions.

Required profile

• Singapore‑qualified lawyer with approximately 1–5 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Prior experience in corporate, commercial, banking, real estate or general transactional work preferred.
• Strong drafting, analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Commercially minded, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Candidates from law firms with regional or cross‑border exposure are encouraged to apply.
