Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to develop power electronics products, designing custom machinery and supporting projects from concept through installation and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical designs using CAD tools such as 3D EXPERIENCE, CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, and Creo.
• Model and design complex electro‑mechanical components including plastics, sheet metal, insulators, magnetic parts and high‑voltage connectors.
• Perform mechanical design analyses such as structural FEA, thermal CFD, vibration and fatigue assessments.
• Address packaging challenges related to electrical isolation, sealing, thermal dissipation, EMI/EMC shielding and mechanical shock/vibration.
• Collaborate with product design, controls, manufacturing and test engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical design for high‑power density and power electronics environments.
• Ability to manage the full project cycle from concept development to installation, commissioning and handover.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with product, controls, manufacturing and test teams.
