Senior Specialist, FX Sales, Markets

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Specialist, FX Sales to join our Markets team in Singapore. The role involves covering FX clients, executing trades, and managing the sales book while supporting business development and client onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Cover FX clients, execute voice and platform FX trades, and manage the sales book throughout the day.
• Screen and evaluate prospects using defined processes, analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and growth potential.
• Assist with client onboarding, coordinating with Credit Risk, Legal and KYC teams.
• Support events, seminars and lead generation activities.
• Conduct industry research and monitor market trends, competitor offerings and regulatory developments.
• Develop negotiation strategies, contribute pricing and contract analyses, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, asset managers, CSD and firm‑wide resources such as marketing, legal and compliance.
• Under guidance, pursue business development within assigned territory, focusing on small, non‑complex prospects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); advanced/graduate degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in FX sales, client coverage or related roles.
• Experience with client onboarding, sales support or product management in capital markets.
• Relevant local/regional licenses or certifications as required.
• Good understanding of the FX marketplace, competitive landscape and industry drivers in the region.
• Bi‑lingual capabilities and cultural awareness are advantageous.
