Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to perform field service operations on automatic door systems. The role involves installing, retrofitting, troubleshooting, and commissioning door equipment at customer sites, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance and retrofits of automatic door parts, covering mechanical, electrical and electronic components.
• Perform on‑site troubleshooting, conduct comprehensive checks, and propose part replacements for client approval.
• Prepare and deliver detailed site reports to clients upon completion of work.
• Test, commission, and de‑commission automatic entrance systems, including risk assessments.
• Recommend upgrades and feasible solutions for existing door installations.
• Maintain the assigned service vehicle in road‑worthy condition and ensure its cleanliness.
• Stay updated on product information and technical knowledge for ASSA ABLOY and competing products.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, replacing damaged items promptly.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management or immediate superiors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field service of automatic door or entrance systems.
• Ability to work independently on customer sites and produce accurate service documentation.
• Strong attention to safety and risk‑assessment procedures.
• Willingness to keep technical knowledge current for both proprietary and competitor products.
