Software Engineer in Test Intern - AutoCAD Toolset Automation

About the role

AutoCAD, the leading computer-aided design software, is looking for a Software Engineer in Test intern to work on the test automation project for its AutoCAD Toolset products. The intern learns automation harness and test case development with AI tools, software automation processes and agile practices, guided by experienced automation developers, and also learns about AutoCAD and its toolsets. Recruitment is held in person from 9 October to 6 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Understand different automation frameworks and test case types
• Create automation test cases using AI tools
• Run tests through a Jenkins pipeline to ensure stability
• Document technical details for future reference

Required profile

• Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Pending graduation in 2027 or 2028 (penultimate or final year)
• Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
• Experience with languages such as C++, C#, Java or Python
• Self-motivated and eager to learn; fluent English

Required skills

• Preferred: experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)
• Preferred: flexibility and multitasking across projects
