Stewarding Supervisor

About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor leads the stewarding team at NoMad Singapore, ensuring all kitchen, back-of-house and food-service areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety during each shift.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily stewarding operations, implement cleaning schedules and conduct inspections to maintain hygiene standards.
• Guide, train and motivate team members, monitor performance and ensure efficient task completion.
• Manage equipment, chemicals and inventory, oversee storage, requisition supplies and track breakage or loss.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food-safety protocols, complete FSMS checklists and maintain dishwashing and polishing equipment.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, F&B and Banquet teams to provide clean crockery, cutlery and glassware, and support peak service periods.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of stewarding storerooms and back-of-house areas, ensuring proper storage of utensils and cleaning supplies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in stewarding or kitchen sanitation, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food-safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
