Technician – Attraction Maintenance

About the role

The Technician ensures that all technical systems, equipment and facilities of an attraction operate safely and reliably. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults and support project work to deliver a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily technical inspections before the attraction opens.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to the scheduled plan.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and complete repairs promptly to minimise downtime.
• Record inspections, maintenance activities, faults, repairs and spare‑parts usage.
• Maintain tools, workshops and storage areas in a safe, organised condition.
• Assist contractors and external service providers during maintenance and project work.
• Support events, promotional activities and emergency procedures as required.

Required profile

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, diploma or equivalent in electrical, electronic, mechanical, building facilities, audio‑visual or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; basic experience in facilities maintenance, attractions or similar venues is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment and maintenance software.
• Relevant safety or equipment‑operation certifications are advantageous.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Electrical, electronic and mechanical maintenance.
• Building facilities and audio‑visual system upkeep.
• Use of hand tools, power tools and electrical test equipment.
• Proficiency with maintenance software for logging work.
