UX Designer – Digital Products

About the role

We are seeking a self‑motivated UX Designer to join our Information Services Group and shape the end‑to‑end experience of HDB’s digital products. You will work within a product team, applying design thinking and human‑centric principles to create intuitive, accessible solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute comprehensive user research and discovery activities to uncover needs and identify opportunities.
• Document current (As‑Is) journeys and develop detailed future (To‑Be) user flows.
• Create wireframes, high‑fidelity prototypes, and design assets that align with product requirements and business goals.
• Iteratively refine designs through usability testing and feedback cycles.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and HDB Design System guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews, quality assurance, and Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Degree or strong background in Human‑Computer Interaction, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of design systems, component libraries, and the product development lifecycle.
• Excellent presentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong online portfolio showcasing user‑centric designs, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
• Team‑player attitude, problem‑solving mindset, and ownership mentality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma (or equivalent industry‑standard design tool).
