Nanyang Technological University (NTU) invites applications for a Visiting Associate Professor position in Nanophotonics within the Division of Physics and Applied Physics. Key responsibilities

• Lead independent research projects in nanophotonics, metamaterials and related areas.
• Collaborate with NTU faculty and external partners to develop joint proposals and secure external funding.
• Supervise graduate students and post‑doctoral researchers, fostering a high‑impact research culture.
• Publish findings in top‑tier journals such as Nature and Science.
• Represent NTU at international conferences and build institutional links with the candidate’s home university.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in physics, photonics, optoelectronics or a closely related field.
• More than 10 years of research experience in nanophotonics materials and devices.
• Proven track record of obtaining external research grants.
• Strong publication record in high‑impact journals.
