Wafer Fab Equipment Technician Trainee

About the role

Micron is offering a Wafer Fab Equipment Technician Trainee position as part of its Graduate Industry Traineeship (GRIT) program in Singapore. The role provides hands‑on exposure to semiconductor manufacturing equipment, allowing recent graduates to learn how machines are maintained, monitored and troubleshooted in a high‑tech production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive guidance from experienced engineers to learn equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Observe machine operation in production and interpret basic performance data.
• Assist in identifying and resolving simple equipment issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand equipment’s role in the overall production process.

Required profile

• Recent graduate holding a Diploma, Higher Nitec or Nitec from a local institution.
• No engineering or STEM background required; applicants from any discipline are welcome.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced, high‑tech setting.
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
