2D Motion Designer (Animator)

About the role

We are looking for a creative 2D Motion Designer to join So Drama! Entertainment. In this position you will turn scripts, storyboards and briefs into engaging explainer‑style and narrative‑driven animation for social media and other digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality 2D animations and motion graphics for explainer videos and social media formats.
• Develop original illustrated assets such as characters, environments and graphic elements, adapting styles to different brands and audiences.
• Edit and post‑produce video content, integrating animation, graphics, audio and footage into cohesive final videos.
• Collaborate with producers, writers and content strategists to shape visual storytelling approaches.
• Optionally record voice‑overs for projects when needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Digital Fine Arts, Multimedia & Animation, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing illustration, 2D animation/motion graphics and video editing work.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality output under fast production cycles and tight deadlines.
• Openness to feedback, rapid iteration on briefs and scripts, and responsiveness to digital trends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Proficiency with Adobe Animate.
