3D Architectural Lighting Designer

About the role

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled 3D Architectural Lighting Designer to translate architectural concepts into realistic lighting solutions. The role involves building detailed 3D models, running precise lighting simulations, and delivering photorealistic visualisations for both interior and exterior projects across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and technical lighting schemes using industry‑standard software while complying with design and energy codes.
• Create detailed 3D models, render scenes and simulate natural and artificial light interactions.
• Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers and electrical engineers to integrate lighting fixtures into building plans.
• Produce luminaire schedules, lighting plots and visual presentation decks for client reviews.
• Select appropriate luminaires and control systems that align with design intent and project budgets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design or Computer Science.
• 3–5 years of experience in architectural lighting design or 3D visualisation.
• Strong understanding of light behaviour, colour temperature, illuminance metrics and energy‑efficiency standards.
• Singaporean citizenship.

Required skills

• Lighting simulation tools: AGI32, RELUX.
• 3D modelling and rendering: 3ds Max, SketchUp, V‑Ray, Corona, Rhino.
• BIM and drafting: Revit, AutoCAD.
• Post‑production: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign.
