Academic Staff – Operational Technology Cybersecurity

About the role

The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is seeking academic staff to strengthen its capability in Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity. The role involves teaching, curriculum development, and applied research at the intersection of cybersecurity, engineering systems, and critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and continuously improve OT cybersecurity programmes ensuring academic rigour and industry relevance.
• Collaborate with industry partners and work with real engineering systems, brownfield environments, and cyber‑physical operations.
• Lead translational research projects that bridge theory and practical implementation.
• Provide technical expertise for prototyping, deployment, and hands‑on learning experiences.
• Contribute to SIT’s Integrated Work Study Programme and support students in authentic, workplace‑based projects.

Required profile

• Outstanding academic or professional background in OT cybersecurity.
• Ability to work with real engineering systems and industry partners.
• Experience in applied research and curriculum development is desirable.
• Rank and appointment level will align with experience and qualifications.
