Account Executive – Accounts Payable (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking an Account Executive to manage the full accounts payable cycle for our multinational client. The role involves processing supplier invoices, preparing payments and supporting month‑end financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify invoices against supporting documents and ensure proper approvals.
• Prepare supplier payments via GIRO, TT, bank transfer and cheque.
• Perform supplier statement and bank reconciliations.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Assist with month‑end closing, AP reconciliations and accruals.
• Support GST submissions, audit schedules and finance reporting.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
• Perform finance administrative duties and other ad‑hoc assignments.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience.
• Experience in the trading or import & export industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Accounts Payable processes.
• Meticulous, responsible and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
