Accountant – Full‑time, Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join The Digital Banker’s Singapore office. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will own the day‑to‑day accounting function and support the finance team with accurate reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries, maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank and company accounts and monitor cash flow.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Singapore tax regulations and internal control policies.
• Assist with internal and external audits and prepare management reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and provide financial insights.

Required profile

• Commercial mindset with strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA or CA is a plus.
• Experience in a financial services, consulting or research‑driven environment is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
