Accountant – Luxury Retail

About the role

Our client, a well‑established luxury retail company, is seeking a diligent Accountant to manage month‑end and year‑end reporting, cash flow, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end and year‑end financial statements and variance analyses.
• Review local and subsidiary accounts ensuring compliance with statutory, GST, CIT and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, banking relationships and support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, company secretaries, legal advisors and other external consultants.
• Strengthen internal controls, enforce financial processes and group policies, and identify operational improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot accounting system issues and perform ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent; ACCA qualification preferred.
• Some audit experience.
• Meticulous, analytical, independent and self‑motivated.
• Strong written communication skills in English.
