Accounting Executive – Income Audit

About the role

The Accounts Executive (Income Audit) ensures the accuracy, integrity and completeness of the hotel’s daily revenue and financial transactions. Working closely with the Finance team and operational departments, the role safeguards assets and supports financial reporting in a dynamic hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and reconcile daily revenue from all operating departments, verifying accurate posting in the Property Management System (PMS) and accounting system.
• Reconcile cash collections and bank deposits against statements, investigating discrepancies promptly.
• Validate rebates, allowances, discounts, complimentary transactions and voids in line with company policies.
• Perform surprise cash counts, house‑float audits and outlet cash audits as required.
• Prepare and distribute daily revenue reports, journal entries, adjustments and reconciliations.
• Support month‑end closing activities and assist in preparing audit schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting procedures and internal control requirements.
