Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial and operational activities of our retail outlet, ensuring accurate accounting, effective inventory control and high standards of customer service. This role combines financial reporting with day‑to‑day store management in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Implement and enforce daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, stocked and organized.
• Maintain attractive, correctly priced merchandise displays and uphold brand image standards.
• Supervise store staff, including assistant managers, applying company policies for discipline and performance.
• Monitor gasoline competitor pricing and report updates to the corporate office.
• Complete daily paperwork and computer entries, manage cash over/short and inventory shrinkage.
• Oversee incoming and outgoing inventory, update counts and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare monthly management, analysis, accounts payable and accounts receivable reports.
• Handle invoicing and follow up on outstanding receivables.

Required profile

• Experience managing retail store operations and finance functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for handling customer issues and staff supervision.
• Proficiency in basic accounting principles and inventory management.
