Accounts Executive (Accounts Payable)

About the role

A detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive is sought to join the finance team and manage end-to-end accounts payable operations. The role suits someone with solid AP experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, credit notes, purchase orders and payments accurately, including invoice verification, coding and allocation to the right accounts, departments and cost centres.
• Prepare payment runs, monitor payment schedules and reconcile supplier statements.
• Maintain organised AP records and documentation in the accounting system.
• Prepare monthly AP accruals, perform reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing.
• Provide AP schedules and supporting documents for financial reporting and audit.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, approval limits and statutory requirements, keeping proper audit trails and assisting with audit queries.
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies, obtain approvals and address payment enquiries.
• Support day-to-day office administration, including facilities coordination, office supplies management and vendor liaison.

Required profile

• Open to Singapore citizens only.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounts payable experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting finance audits and working with external and internal auditors.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and stakeholder management.
• Good to have: prior experience in the technology sector, ACCA qualification or studies, and experience in finance system migration projects (data validation, UAT, parallel run).

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle high transaction volumes accurately.
