Adjunct Operations Manager (Senior Fire Safety Manager)

About the role

The Adjunct Operations Manager will act as the Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) for Eunoia Junior College, overseeing daily fire‑safety compliance and supporting overall school operations. This full‑time, fixed‑term position requires a hands‑on presence on campus to ensure a safe learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily fire‑safety checks, identify hazards and implement corrective actions in line with SCDF regulations.
• Maintain and document fire‑safety arrangements within the MOE Emergency Response Plan.
• Train and brief the school’s Operations Manager on fire‑safety procedures.
• Assist the Operations Manager with day‑to‑day school operations, events and infrastructure management.
• Supervise and coordinate Operations Support Officers (OSOs) and external vendors for facilities maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Regulation 7 of the Fire Safety (FSM) Regulations.
• Provide safety, security and emergency‑preparedness guidance to school leadership.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Vice‑Principal (Administration) or other school leaders.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in estate/facilities management (preferred).
• Valid Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) certification as required by SCDF.
• Proficient in basic IT tools, especially Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Meticulous, well‑organized and able to work independently on campus.
