AI Data Analyst – Safety Model Operations

About the role

We are looking for an AI Data Analyst to join the AI Data Service and Operations (ADSO) team, specifically the Safety Model Operations (SMO) group. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality data for content‑safety model training and evaluation, supporting TikTok’s Trust & Safety ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end project delivery for safety model training and evaluation data, from requirements gathering to continuous optimisation.
• Collaborate with algorithm, product, annotation and operations teams to define data production strategies that translate business goals into scalable data solutions.
• Design, implement and refine standardized processes, operational guidelines and quality systems for data production, leveraging tooling and automation to remove bottlenecks.
• Coordinate cross‑functional project timelines, identify risks, and drive resolution to meet delivery objectives.
• Establish quality assessment and retrospective mechanisms, using data monitoring and root‑cause analysis to improve delivery quality and team effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis and project delivery.
• Strong foundation in statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing and correlation analysis.
• Clear logical thinking and ability to work independently on full analysis cycles.

Required skills

• Expert‑level SQL for complex, reproducible queries.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or Looker.
