AI Solutions Engineer

About the role

Marvell is looking for a mid-level AI Solutions Engineer to design and deliver AI agents and assistants that solve real operational problems for internal business teams. It is a solutioning-first role: you will spend as much time scoping the approach, designing the integration and choosing the right tool as you will writing code, turning ambiguous business requests into production-grade systems and supporting them once live.

Key responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to turn ambiguous problems into clear technical designs, identifying data sources, system boundaries and integration points
• Decide between custom-built agents and no-code/low-code agents on an enterprise agent-builder platform (e.g., Glean)
• Design how agents connect to APIs (e.g., Graph API), scheduled jobs, data platforms and chat surfaces (e.g., Slack), and plan migrations away from legacy approaches
• Design access control and data permission models (e.g., Databricks ACLs, Unity Catalog) for mobile, web and API consumers
• Prototype quickly, validate against real data and users, and present the solution and its trade-offs to stakeholders
• Build backend integrations and automation (Python, REST/Graph APIs, cron-based scheduling) and package logic as clean API endpoints for frontend teams
• Integrate LLM observability and evaluation tooling (e.g., LangSmith) and prepare documentation for architecture and compliance reviews
• Support live solutions and iterate based on user feedback

Required profile

• 2-4 years of experience building applied AI/software solutions in a hands-on engineering role
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solution designs
• Comfortable presenting solution designs and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
• Eligibility to access export-controlled information; export license review may apply to non-U.S. citizens and permanent residents

Required skills

• Strong Python; designing and consuming REST/Graph APIs
• LLM/agent frameworks and observability tooling (e.g., LangSmith, LangGraph)
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and data platforms with access-control models (Databricks, Unity Catalog)
• Enterprise agent-builder or search platforms (e.g., Glean); experience with Slack API, LLM evaluation and rapid prototyping is a plus
