AI Systems Engineer (Infra Cyber)

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is hiring an AI Systems Engineer (Infra Cyber) in Singapore. The role covers planning, designing, installing, testing and implementing systems according to specifications and service levels, including system programming and configuration where relevant, and leading a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure operating systems and common services products, and upgrade and patch them.
• Evaluate and upgrade firewall and network hardware and/or firmware.
• Review monthly reports and change requests, and develop and maintain technical and configuration documentation.
• Maintain standard operating procedures, processes and guidelines.
• Provide technical advice and support to the Services Delivery Manager/Project Manager.
• Alias with vendors and OEM partners on technical matters.
• Support Level 1 engineers during problem determination and resolution, and be willing to support 24x7 standby.

Required profile

• Proven track record of installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) or Windows Server systems.
• Experience with common services products such as Active Directory, DNS, Splunk, Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and BeyondTrust.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with administration, performance tuning and system monitoring.
• Good written, verbal and face-to-face communication skills.
