Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to lead the design and development of high-performance analog integrated circuits for our cutting-edge semiconductor solutions. The role involves close collaboration with digital designers, layout engineers and system architects to deliver robust analog blocks that meet stringent performance and yield targets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop analog ICs such as amplifiers, data converters, voltage regulators, and other signal-processing circuits using advanced CMOS processes.
• Perform detailed simulations, verification and validation to ensure specifications and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analog and digital components seamlessly.
• Research and apply advanced design techniques and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design reviews and process improvements.
• Support testing, characterization and debugging of analog ICs in partnership with the test engineering team.

Required profile

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on CMOS analog/mixed-signal IC design.
• 5+ years of experience in analog or mixed-signal IC development, including successful tape-out with leading foundries.
• Strong knowledge of analog circuit blocks such as OpAmps, bandgap references, voltage/current references, and low-power, low-noise techniques.
• Proven ability to take designs from definition through high-volume production, including layout supervision and bench characterization.
• Experience working in a startup environment and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence and Mentor Graphics for design, simulation, layout and verification.
• Hands-on experience in data-converter (ADC/DAC) design, memory design or in-memory computing circuits (strong plus).
• Expertise in mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, and low-power analog design techniques.
• Ability to create innovative architectures and circuit solutions to meet customer requirements.
