Analyst – Front Office Support & Reviewing Officer (ECPR)

About the role

This position joins the APAC team of a leading financial institution, working within the Enhanced Client Periodic Review (ECPR) function. You will support periodic KYC and Customer Due Diligence reviews, either as a Front Office Support (Maker) or Reviewing Officer (Approver), ensuring client due‑diligence records are current and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic reviews of KYC and CDD information for existing end clients and financial intermediaries.
• Perform independent plausibility checks and corroborate source of wealth and source of funds, addressing any gaps.
• Advise Front Office colleagues on ongoing monitoring, deficiencies, and remediation actions.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Compliance, and other stakeholders to close identified red‑flags.
• Support high‑volume name screening using Dow Jones and Factiva, discount false positives, and assess true adverse hits.
• Prepare Management Information (MI) reports as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Economics, Law or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in KYC, AML, Client Lifecycle Management, Enhanced Due Diligence or periodic review within financial services.
• Experience reviewing source of wealth/funds documentation for retail, private banking, wealth management or corporate banking clients.
• Understanding of AML/CFT regulations and customer due‑diligence requirements.
