Android Mobile Developer – 2-Year Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Android developer to design, build and maintain high‑performance mobile applications. The position is a two‑year fixed‑term contract within an Agile team focused on delivering secure, scalable and user‑friendly Android solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and enhance Android applications.
• Translate business and functional requirements into robust, scalable mobile solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers and backend engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable and well‑tested code following Android best practices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring security and data privacy.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD implementation and app deployment to Google Play Store.
• Stay current with emerging Android technologies, frameworks and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of professional Android application development experience.
• Experience working in Agile environments and with RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to location services, push notifications, QR code scanning, payment integration or digital wallets is a plus.
• iOS development experience (Swift) is a bonus.
