Android Software Engineer (AI Systems)

About the role

We are looking for an Android Software Engineer to join an innovative AI‑Fintech company. You will build and enhance production‑grade Android apps that embed conversational assistants, computer‑vision and speech capabilities, helping users complete tasks faster and smarter.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and ship Android applications using Kotlin.
• Integrate AI‑driven features such as LLM‑based assistants, computer‑vision, voice experiences and recommendation engines via backend APIs.
• Design intuitive UI flows for AI interactions, handling streaming responses, error recovery and partial results.
• Optimize performance, memory usage and battery life for AI‑intensive workloads.
• Implement analytics, monitoring and logging to support continuous AI evaluation.
• Collaborate with backend, platform and machine‑learning engineers to define API contracts and ensure end‑to‑end stability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI technologies (LLMs, computer‑vision, speech recognition or similar).
• Strong grasp of asynchronous programming, Coroutines and Flow.
• Proven ability to work with RESTful or gRPC services and structured data formats.
• Track record of delivering production apps published on Google Play.
