Anesthesiologist – Full‑time Clinical Role

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based at the upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) Campus in Singapore. The Anesthesiologist will assess patients pre‑operatively, devise individualized anaesthetic plans, and ensure safe delivery of anaesthesia throughout surgical and procedural cases.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor anaesthesia for a wide range of surgical and procedural cases, adjusting delivery to maintain patient safety and comfort.
• Manage peri‑operative pain, support critical‑care patients, and respond to emergency situations such as resuscitation and rapid‑response calls.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses and allied health professionals, contributing to quality‑improvement initiatives and departmental education.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed specialist training in Anaesthesiology and eligibility for registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Demonstrated expertise in pre‑operative assessment, intra‑operative management and post‑operative care across diverse procedures.
• Experience working in critical‑care or high‑dependency settings and proficiency in acute peri‑operative pain control.
