Architect – Advanced Technology & Life Sciences Projects

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Architect to lead the design and delivery of advanced technology and life‑science facilities. The role involves managing the full architectural package from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with local regulations and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, detail, specify and support tendering of architectural packages for advanced technology and life‑science projects.
• Liaise with client teams on design issues and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Administer sub‑contractor contracts on site from inception to handover.
• Assist site personnel with technical and coordination matters during design and construction phases.
• Guide projects from conceptual design through implementation and final handover.
• Ensure all designs comply with Singapore codes, standards and authority submission procedures.
• Produce tender specifications and progress design elements according to the Design Checklist.
• Mentor junior designers and graduate architects to build a skilled internal team.
• Provide updated approved plans and shop drawings to the Architectural Supervisor and brief the System Supervisor on scope and contractual revisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and/or construction, preferably on fast‑track projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural systems and technical writing.
• Familiarity with Singapore building codes, standards and authority submission processes.
