About the role

The role involves early‑stage collaboration with clients and consultants to define project briefs, develop design proposals using CAD and traditional drawing methods, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the design process.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients and professionals to agree on the project brief and develop it as the project progresses.
• Prepare design proposals using computer‑aided design (CAD) and traditional drawing techniques.
• Contribute to planning and other regulatory applications, liaising with authorities to obtain statutory approval.
• Coordinate and liaise with consultants, lead tender documentation, and produce construction drawings.
• Conduct site visits, monitor progress, solve construction‑stage problems, and carry out defect inspections.
• Manage junior staff and direct reports, and assist in contract administration and project certification.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the architectural industry in Singapore or Malaysia.
• Able to work within a team and in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiar with building regulations in Singapore or Malaysia.
• Strong portfolio, proactive attitude, and conscientious work ethic.
