Assistant Accounts Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Accounts Manager to support our Accounts Manager in overseeing a diverse client portfolio across Singapore. The role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and delivering high-quality advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide accountants and accounts executives in daily tasks.
• Prepare and review financial statements, tax computations, and statutory reports for assigned clients.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IRAS requirements.
• Review team members’ work for accuracy and completeness.
• Advise clients on accounting, tax, and regulatory matters.
• Support process-improvement initiatives to boost departmental efficiency.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth client service delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; ACCA/CPA qualification preferred.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, with some supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, corporate taxation and regulatory compliance.
