Assistant Architecture Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Architecture Manager to support the coordination of architectural design across multiple projects for our Singapore branch. The role bridges design, submission, tender and construction phases, ensuring technical compliance and smooth collaboration among stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing architectural design coordination across design, submission, tender and construction stages.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and internal teams to resolve design, technical and site‑related issues.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submissions and technical details for compliance with project requirements and authority regulations.
• Support authority submissions, approvals and liaison with relevant agencies.
• Monitor design progress, deliverables and submission timelines against project master programmes.
• Ensure alignment of design intent with buildability, cost considerations and construction sequencing.
• Attend technical, coordination and site meetings to facilitate issue resolution.
• Track outstanding design and coordination matters and follow up with stakeholders for timely closure.
• Maintain design management systems, trackers and workflow processes.
• Mentor and coordinate junior architectural team members as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in architectural coordination, design management or project delivery within a consultancy or main‑contractor environment.
• Familiarity with authority submission processes and local regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and concurrent project timelines.
• Experience on large‑scale, complex building projects is an advantage.
