Assistant Manager / Manager, Technology Procurement

About the role

Marina Bay Sands is seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager to lead technology procurement initiatives. The role involves shaping sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce the company’s purchasing policy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and continuously improve administrative procurement processes.
• Design category strategies with end‑to‑end sourcing, supplier selection, cost and quality performance, and implementation roadmaps.
• Conduct regular business reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to enhance operations and cost efficiency.
• Act as the technology procurement specialist, providing advice and recommendations to user departments.
• Facilitate tendering, negotiation, contract award, and ongoing contract management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT applications, software, cloud services, or IT infrastructure procurement.
• Strong project management, communication, and coordination abilities.
• Resilient, meticulous, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of financial acumen, cost management, PR/PO processes, and contract management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP procurement systems, specifically SAP Ariba.
• Skilled in contract negotiation, pricing, and terms.
