Assistant Manager – Risk & Compliance

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Risk & Compliance will support the investment team and senior management by driving technology‑enabled risk initiatives and ensuring the firm meets all regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive adoption of AI, automation and emerging technology solutions across the department and the wider firm.
• Prepare regular risk and performance reports for the investment team, senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Continuously enhance risk‑based compliance programmes and oversee pre‑trade and post‑trade compliance.
• Implement and improve ESG risk‑management framework, policy compliance and monitoring processes.
• Manage risk and compliance communications with internal and external stakeholders, including trustees, solicitors and MAS.
• Oversee business impact analysis, business continuity management and the preparation of risk‑compliance training material.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in risk and compliance, preferably within asset management.
• Good understanding of AI, automation and emerging technologies, with hands‑on change‑management experience.
• Knowledge of Singapore statutes such as the Securities and Futures Act, MAS codes, AML/CFT regulations.
• Familiarity with ESG risk‑management frameworks.

• Bloomberg platform, especially CMGR module.
