Assistant M&E Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Assistant M&E Maintenance Manager supports the Maintenance Manager in planning, coordinating and executing preventive, corrective and ad‑hoc maintenance activities for mechanical and electrical systems. This role ensures that maintenance work is carried out safely, on schedule and in line with quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the M&E Maintenance Manager in developing and implementing maintenance plans.
• Coordinate manpower, contractors and service providers to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks.
• Monitor daily maintenance activities, identify delays or issues and escalate as needed.
• Support compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in site inspections, testing and audits to verify system performance and address defects.
• Prepare maintenance reports, track work progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate smooth coordination and resolution of maintenance problems.
• Provide technical and operational support to supervisors and technicians to ensure safe and quality work execution.

Required profile
