Assistant Pastry Chef (Entry Level)

About the role

Chateraise Singapore is seeking five enthusiastic Assistant Pastry Chefs to join its bakery team. This full‑time, entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a Japanese‑inspired patisserie environment, supporting senior chefs in daily production.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior pastry chefs in preparing and decorating a variety of confectionery and baked goods.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Interact with customers, providing product information and handling sales transactions.
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to meet production schedules.
• Support inventory management and stock replenishment.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of confectionery or baking experience.
• Passionate, creative and cheerful attitude.
• Ability to speak and read English and Mandarin.
• Singaporean citizen or PR.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.

• Monthly salary SGD 2,200 – 2,700 (OT eligible).
