Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager will support the overall food & beverage operation of Pullman Singapore Orchard, ensuring smooth daily service, profitability and memorable guest experiences across the restaurant and bar outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting, revenue forecasting and expense monitoring on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Analyse performance data, prepare weekly/month‑end reports and identify deviations from business targets.
• Participate in management meetings, contribute to the annual business plan and develop profit‑enhancement initiatives with the kitchen and marketing teams.
• Prepare post‑mortem promotion reports and support the implementation of cost‑control measures for food, beverage, labour and supplies.
• Conduct daily briefings, supervise team members and ensure tasks are completed according to standards.
• Build relationships with guests, remember preferences, handle complaints and deliver personalized service.
• Manage cashier and bar administration, maintain logbooks, notice boards and monitor stock and equipment levels.
• Support other F&B outlets during peak periods and uphold LQA standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in restaurant or bar management within a hotel or upscale hospitality environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and drive performance improvements.
• Leadership skills to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and guest‑service orientation.
• Flexibility to assist other outlets and adapt to dynamic operational needs.
