Assistant Vice President, GFM-IB Structuring & Execution (Greater China)

About the role

DBS Global Financial Markets (GFM) is an Asian leader in treasury operations, offering trading, structuring and sales across foreign exchange, interest rates, money market, credit, equity, commodities, bonds, derivatives and securities. It is looking to set up dedicated Singapore-based Investment Banking specialist support to drive GFM-IB origination, coordination and execution across internal and external channels from a Greater China client coverage perspective. This is a regular, full-time Product Management position based in DBS Asia Central.

Key responsibilities

• Support end-to-end Greater China IB client coverage, including origination and coordination of product execution across ECM, DCM advisory and broader GFM opportunities
• Assist in managing One Bank cross-selling opportunities
• Prepare integrated client coverage materials, market intelligence, industry analysis and strategic account plans to support mandate origination and wallet share expansion
• Sponsor, together with the private bank, institutional banking group and GFM product teams, the development of founder, family office and investor ecosystems
• Coordinate transaction execution across internal stakeholders and manage the pipeline across Greater China IB coverage and product teams
• Support the development of GFM China+N opportunities across funding, investment and risk management solutions
• Data processing: data mining, updating and maintaining relevant databases

Required profile

• Bachelor of Finance and/or accounting background
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking Capital Markets, Corporate Banking or Greater China client coverage
• Knowledge of Greater China capital markets and corporate landscape is an advantage
• Fluent business-level language skills
• Genuine interest in companies, stocks, fundamental analysis, financial statements and valuation
• Analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking, proactive and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Good knowledge of Bloomberg
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
