Associate Analyst – Public Policy & Regulatory Affairs

About the role

BowerGroupAsia (BGA) is the premier government affairs, public policy, and strategic communications advisory firm supporting multinational companies in the Indo‑Pacific region and Africa. We are seeking a motivated Singapore Associate Analyst to help clients understand Singapore’s regulatory environment and support the country’s evolution.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret Singapore‑specific government regulations, policies and laws, and assess their business, investment and political implications.
• Produce high‑quality client deliverables such as briefs, memos, reports, presentations, stakeholder maps and in‑person or virtual briefings.
• Conduct desk research on clients and market developments to inform business‑development conversations.
• Draft briefing materials, talking points and editing support for leadership and client products.
• Maintain and expand Salesforce accounts, flag important developments and ensure timely updates.
• Build and nurture networks with corporate executives, government officials, media and civil‑society experts, representing BGA as needed.
• Assist in scheduling, agenda setting and follow‑up for client and stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Singapore’s geopolitical and regulatory environment.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and 2‑3 years relevant experience in government, multinational corporations, journalism or consulting.
• Excellent research, editing and written/verbal communication skills in native English.
• Interest or experience in financial services, fintech, ICT, healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
• Ability to engage confidently with corporate, government, civil‑society and media stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce and MS365 is a plus.
• Based in Singapore with valid work authorization.
