Associate General Counsel, Employment

About the role

CoreWeave is seeking its first Employment Counsel for the Asia‑Pacific region. Reporting to the Senior Managing Associate General Counsel, Employment, you will provide both day‑to‑day and strategic legal advice on all employment matters as the company expands its multi‑jurisdictional workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on recruitment, hiring, performance management, terminations, restructurings and related documentation across APAC jurisdictions.
• Handle collective employment and industrial‑relations issues, including trade‑union negotiations and enterprise agreements.
• Support internal investigations, employee‑relations matters and coordinate with outside counsel when needed.
• Partner with Privacy, Compliance, People, Tax, Payroll and other functions on data‑privacy intersections, EOR/PEO arrangements and cross‑border mobility.
• Guide new‑country launches, entity build‑outs, M&A employment diligence and post‑closing integration.
• Manage employment‑related disputes, litigation and regulatory complaints, overseeing counsel and developing settlement strategies.

Required profile

• 9+ years of employment‑law experience in APAC, with a mix of law‑firm and in‑house roles; experience in a global technology or publicly‑traded company is preferred.
• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in at least one APAC jurisdiction (e.g., Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong).
• Proven ability to lead complex, high‑impact employment matters, advise senior stakeholders and develop scalable legal frameworks.
• Strong executive presence, excellent communication skills and fluency in English; additional regional language is a plus.
