Associate / Senior Associate – Corporate M&A & Litigation

About the role

CNPLaw LLP is seeking qualified Advocates and Solicitors to join its Litigation and Corporate Advisory teams as Associates or Senior Associates. The positions involve handling cross‑border commercial disputes and a broad range of corporate M&A transactions for regional and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex litigation and arbitration matters, including case strategy, pleadings and negotiations.
• Support partners on domestic and cross‑border M&A deals from due diligence to completion.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements and related documentation.
• Conduct legal research, risk assessments and provide concise advice on Singapore law and regulatory matters.

Required profile

• Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore (or other common‑law jurisdiction).
• 1–6 years PQE for litigation or 3–6 years PQE for corporate work, with demonstrable experience in litigation/arbitration or corporate M&A.
• Strong communication, analytical abilities and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage, especially for client interactions.
