Automation Strategy Analyst – Warehouse Robotics

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Automation Strategy Analyst to support robotics and automation initiatives within its global warehouse operations in Singapore. The role will help design, prototype, and scale automation solutions that improve material handling, sorting, and inventory workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Support development of automation solutions for logistics operations, including feasibility studies, business cases, prototyping, and validation testing.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, operations, IT, and external vendors to integrate automation systems.
• Own portions of the automation strategy roadmap, execute tasks, and report results to management.
• Ensure reliability, safety, and high performance of automation solutions in high‑volume warehouse environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with robotic arms and end‑of‑arm tooling.
• Exposure to robotics system integration and testing in operational environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, collaborative settings.
