AV Technician (Ad Hoc) – Central

About the role

The AV Technician (Ad Hoc) supports the seamless delivery of virtual hearings and events across Singapore courts. Working on‑site, you will ensure that all audio‑visual and video‑conferencing equipment functions reliably for both physical and virtual participants.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, test and provide technical support for hearing venues and virtual events.
• Manage video‑conferencing solutions for court operations, ensuring uninterrupted service.
• Act as first responder to any disruptions during virtual hearings, events or meetings.
• Maintain operational status of all VC hardware and software at all times.
• Coordinate with lawyers, prosecutors, self‑represented persons and court staff on VC matters.
• Conduct daily inspections of hearing venues to confirm readiness.
• Own the maintenance of AV equipment, performing routine checks and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on microphones, projectors, sound‑mixing equipment and related devices.

Required profile

• Experience in on‑site AV support for courts, corporate events or similar environments.
• Ability to respond quickly to technical incidents and communicate clearly with court users.
• Strong attention to detail for daily venue inspections and equipment maintenance.
