AVP / Senior Associate, Transfer Agency (Securities & Fiduciary Services)

About the role

DBS is hiring an AVP / Senior Associate for its Transfer Agency within the Securities & Fiduciary Services Operations (SFSO) and IBG Operations (IBGO) teams, reporting to the Group COO. Group Operations manages the majority of the bank's operational processes and aims to deliver them efficiently, with a focus on productivity, quality and control, technology, people capability and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Transfer Agency roles and functions.
• Carry out regular screening of fund investors and review all identification records.
• Authorise transactions and payments entered by processing staff.
• Attend to queries from auditors, customers and external parties.
• Investigate and rectify problems and errors.
• Compile and collect transaction and processing statistics.
• Update procedures, Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) manuals.
• Participate in system enhancements and projects.

Required profile

• University graduate with at least 6 years of working experience in a relevant role.
• Able to work under pressure and during extended working hours where necessary.
• Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with product owners, external customers, counterparties and internal business units.
• Good team player and leader, showing initiative and supporting colleagues.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Transfer Agency services, including performance computation.
• Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and FATCA/CRS reporting.
