Backend Development Engineer (Golang/Java)

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Development Engineer proficient in Golang and Java to join our technical team. You will help design, build and optimise the core services that power our products, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in requirement analysis, system design, development and testing of core products.
• Develop and maintain Golang/Java backend services, including API design, coding, and unit testing.
• Perform performance tuning and scalability improvements on existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members to solve technical challenges and resolve project issues.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Golang and Java ecosystem trends and share knowledge within the team.
• Produce technical documentation to support project understanding and maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience developing backend services with Golang and/or Java.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and clean coding practices.
• Experience with microservice architecture, RESTful APIs, RPC mechanisms and message‑queue systems.
• Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL) and caching solutions (Redis).
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems and command‑line tools.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
