Bid & Commercial Manager

About the role

The Bid & Commercial Manager will lead contract and bid activities across complex ICT and telecom projects, ensuring proposals meet customer requirements and internal standards. This role bridges sales, legal, finance and operations to deliver winning bids while protecting commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end contract management, bid coordination and post‑contract support.
• Lead the sales and bid support team to satisfy RFP specifications within tight timelines.
• Analyse solution, delivery, legal and financial risks and advise stakeholders.
• Secure internal approvals and review all tender submissions, customer and third‑party agreements.
• Troubleshoot bid challenges and guide teams toward viable solutions.
• Mitigate losses from poorly drafted commercial terms and weak negotiations.
• Enhance governance, compliance and audit processes for bid and contract management.
• Negotiate and draft complex ICT, telecom and combined deals.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience drafting and negotiating customer and third‑party contracts (RFPs, RFQs, MOUs, NDAs, SOWs, MSAs, etc.).
• At least 5 years managing complex tender bids and back‑to‑back contract negotiations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and operational teams.
• Legal or related education is advantageous but not mandatory.
