Bid & Project Controller

About the role

The Bid & Project Controller will support the AMS Head of Finance in delivering accurate financial accounting, reporting and audit activities for Thales Singapore. This role ensures that project financials are monitored, variances are analysed and accounts receivable are managed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating all financial accounting duties, including month‑end and annual external reporting.
• Prepare and review Annual Statutory Accounts, liaising with Thales Australia Corporate Finance and external auditors.
• Manage accounts receivable, perform age analysis and follow up overdue debtors.
• Conduct key balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
• Provide cash‑flow forecasts and treasury support.
• Own the financial aspects of assigned bids, ensuring accurate cost and revenue projections.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Finance; CPA/CA qualification or in progress.
• Proven experience preparing external financial reports and statutory accounts.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the capacity to meet tight deadlines under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for handling large‑volume transactions.
